Lead – Safety & Security would act as the organization’s lead competent person for Safety & Security of YBL Offices. This role will also be responsible for running Employee Health and Safety programs for the Bank and ESG (Environment Social Governance) reporting for the department.
- To ensure the organization complies with all statutory, regulatory and legal requirements, and work proactively with managers to establish and maintain a system that promotes a culture of safe and secure working practices across the Bank.
- To draft/ update Safety & Security Policies/ Standards/ Guidelines and ensure their implementation across the organization.
- Physical Security Operations – Includes Planning, deployment, briefing, supervision of Guards, Supervisors, Area Officers etc.
- Electronic Security Operations – Planning, deployment and operation of Central Monitoring System, CCTV systems, Intrusion Detection System, Fire Alarm System.
- Training and development of the Security Team, Emergency responders.
- To conduct Safety & Security audits and investigations.
- Implement ISO 45001 standards across and be responsible for audits.
- Be the SPOC for ESG reporting and compliance pan Bank.
- Liaison with the Police, Fire dept. and Law Enforcement agencies.
Vendor’s selection, onboarding, development and management including SLAs
Regular MIS & Reports.
Advising Top Management about the best Safety & Security practices and implementation of the Safety & Security projects.
Leadership and direction for incident handling and response.
Skills:
To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
- Organized and systematic approach to problem solving.
- 10+ years Safety & Security industry experience in similar capacity.
- Knowledge of current health, Safety & Security legislation and its application in Bank.
- Exposure to ESG practices will be required
- Forces exposure would be an added advantage.
- Good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Accountable and resilient.
Qualification:
Knowledge and a proven track record of delivery of Safety & Security management systems.
Preferably Ex- Defense/Paramilitary officer.
Certified in Safety & Security courses.
