The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing clear, quality code to develop the best software. You will test your code, identify errors, and iterate to ensure quality code. You will also support our customers and partners by troubleshooting any of their software issues.

RJob Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Splunk Developer with 5+ years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in developing and implementing Splunk solutions, as well as a deep understanding of data analysis and visualization. The Splunk Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Splunk applications and dashboards, as well as providing technical support and training to internal teams.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop custom Splunk applications, dashboards, and alerts to meet the needs of various departments and stakeholders.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop solutions to complex data analysis and visualization challenges.

3. Analyze and process large volumes of data from various sources, ensuring data quality and accuracy.

4. Develop and maintain Splunk scripts and applications, optimizing performance and ensuring scalability.

5. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Splunk applications and infrastructure.

6. Provide technical support and training to internal teams on Splunk applications, best practices, and processes.

7. Stay up-to-date with the latest Splunk features, enhancements, and industry trends, and incorporate them into existing applications and processes.

8. Participate in code reviews, quality assurance, and testing to ensure the highest standards of quality and performance.

9. Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Splunk administration, development, and deployment.

3. Strong understanding of Splunk architecture, APIs, and data models.

4. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Perl, or JavaScript.

5. Experience with Splunk Add-ons, SDKs, and third-party integrations.

6. Familiarity with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or Elasticsearch.

7. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

9. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • 10. Certified Splunk Administrator (CSNA) and/or Certified Splunk Developer (CSD) certification is preferred
