Job Description
Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence
- Work on first level site inspection; searching potential sites and collaborating with cross functional teams building a pipeline for more store openings
- Find opportunities off market sites; canvassing; facts finding; researching; cold calling; looking for more possibilities; creating and proposing for more
- Work marginal sites; re focus and analyses of hidden opportunities; re visiting files and re evaluating ; re looking with a fresh approach
- Submit data to Evaluate and appraise site against acquisition strategy
- Support on payback review file; collate; feed in key data to the matrix; help build the leadership review file for potential store list
- Monitor planning applications; gate keeping council/ town planning websites; finding supporting information enabling all stores across
- Provide key builds and support on all files; information needed for the periodic UKPM meeting chaired by UK COO; work with all internal and external network teams and support in the report creation.
- Update all key potential sites data into the Prism Application
- Work closely with a strong network of potential lead; sources and network; external consultants to strengthen the opportunities and help UK achieve targets
- Regularly report on the local market conditions and competitor activity
- Record the progress of opportunities considered and provide feedback on pipeline of sites
- Identify; appraise and negotiate new site acquisitions; operating closely with my natural work team to ensure an efficient acquisition process and the best possible scheme
- Assist in data and file for planning applications for approved sites taking particular account of public relations
- Contributing in improving our Health & Safety culture/awareness as a team through open discussion; joint problem-solving and promoting good safety standards in line with business expectations
Qualifications
To support and build a strong pipeline of stores to enable opening of Express and Large formats aligning to the strategy & long term plan. Structure and gather all data and create more opportunities to Acquire sites that enable the right format store to be built in the right area.
