As a Technical Support Specialist, you will report directly to the IT Manager and handle day-to-day IT support for Samsung employees. Your expertise will ensure smooth functioning of the company’s network infrastructure, desktop systems, software, and hardware, making a significant impact on operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems, workstations, servers, and network issues.
  • Maintain passwords, data integrity, and file system security.
  • Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Diagnose and resolve OS, file system, and network issues independently.
  • Onboard new user devices to Microsoft Intune and resolve account/profile issues.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot internet lines and liaise with ISPs to resolve issues.
  • Support LAN/Wi-Fi and resolve connectivity issues at PC, Access Point, or Firewall levels.
  • Manage asset inventory and ensure optimal hardware and software performance.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, BE/BTECH, or a related field.
  • 3-7 years of experience in IT support or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 (Office 365), Azure AD, and SharePoint.
  • Hands-on experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow.
  • Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
