About the Role
The IT Apps Program Manager will coordinate IT application programs, manage vendor contracts, and ensure seamless delivery of IT solutions. The ideal candidate will work with cross-functional teams, track budgets, and lead programs aligned with Rubrik’s strategic goals. A strong focus on vendor management and cost optimization is critical to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Program Management
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of IT application programs across business units.
- Develop program roadmaps, schedules, and reporting for stakeholders.
- Lead scrum teams for IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
Vendor Contract Management
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring timely contract renewals and compliance.
- Negotiate contracts to deliver cost-effective solutions and value.
- Track licensing agreements, renewal timelines, and associated costs.
Budget Management
- Monitor program budgets and drive cost-saving initiatives.
- Provide financial reports, including cost projections and variance analysis.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as a central point of contact between IT, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment across projects, processes, and teams.
Process Improvement
- Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvements in program execution.

Experience and Skills
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7–12 years of experience in IT program/project management or vendor management.
- Experience leading scrum ceremonies for Salesforce development teams.
- Strong understanding of IT applications, licensing, and contracts.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, and Smartsheet.
Preferred Skills
- Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL framework.
- Familiarity with SaaS contracts and enterprise software licensing models.
