General Summary:

As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world class products that meet and exceed customer needs. Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- 1-3 years of xperience in software development in one or more programming languages (Ex : C, C++, Javascript, Python).
- Good data structures and algorithms skills along with good debugging skills.
- Hands on full stack web development experience and good grasp on latest web technologies.
- Basic Linux terminal usage, Bash scripting and version control system skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Embedded development and AOSP experience is a plus.
- Basic software design skills.
- Constant willingness to learn and adopt new technologies to solve interesting problems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and to deliver within scheduled timelines.
Responsibilities
- Write and test Infrastructure and productivity code to augment existing internal tools and frameworks.
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to review design and drive execution.
- Actively participate in code reviews to make sure the coding standards and policies are thoroughly vetted.
- Triage framework/system issues to root cause at source and provide analysis.
