NetApp is hiring Technical Marketing Engr

Job Summary

The Data Services team at NetApp helps customers protect and govern their data wherever it lives. We drive preference for our primary storage platforms through a consolidated set of data protection and governance offerings.

We are looking for a Technical Marketing engineer to help drive our ransomware protection portfolio. In this role, the candidate will engage with customers, partners and field experts to drive awareness for our existing functionality and upcoming releases by building and delivering an amazing array of collateral.

Job Requirements

Lead GTM activities for ransomware protection solutions across NetApp’s entire customer base, including enterprise and cloud storage customers.

Engage with customers, field experts, internal and external partners to drive adoption.

Create technical documents, product feature demos, technical demos/deep dives, Lab on Demand setups, Blogs, Community Participation, Videos, FAQs, Best Practices, Technical Reviews/Sizing guides, etc.

  • 5+ years of Technical Marketing experience in delivering technical products/services to market
  • Experience delivering technology products from ideation to post launch.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence teams towards a common goal.
  • Hands-on experience in setting up demo infra for customers and partner.
  • Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Customer Support or Marketing highly desired.
  • Rich experience in creating customer facing contents like blogs, videos, webinars.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ever-changing environment.
  • Results-oriented growth mindset with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
  • An excellent understanding, curiosity, and interest in how technology products and solutions solve business/customer problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent relationship building and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple, critical projects is required.
  • Expertise in data protection and governance, specifically ransomware protection, is a plus.

Education

  • A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or a master’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
