Job Summary
Participate in Agile development process with focus on automated testing to support software quality efforts, with focus on interoperability between NetApp and 3rd party vendor components. Develops, modifies, and executes interoperability test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults with both internal and external development engineers in resolution of problems. Ensures interoperability between NetApp storage and vendor components.

Essential Functions
- As part of a team, the individual will be responsible for:
- Understanding test requirements and formulation of test cases
- Setting up the lab and configuring testbeds
- Developing, implementing, and executing test plans
- Contributing to test automation
- Collecting comprehensive and relevant data for problem investigation
- Participate in technical discussions within the team or other groups within the Business Unit associated with specified projects.
- Willing to work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will contribute toward the team, department, and company goals.
Job Requirements
- Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
- Work collaboratively within a team environment of other engineers to meet aggressive goals and high quality standards.
- Experience with functional, regression, integration, and stress testing.
- Proven ability to analyze test logs, test failures, and report defects.
- Experience with Operating Systems, network switches, host adapters and general understanding of Storage technologies like SAS, Fibre Channel, NVMe, and RAID.
- Experience with Agile software development best practices.
- Experience with Atlassian (Jira, Confluence).
- Proven abilities in Interoperability test planning, test case writing.
Education
- Typically requires a minimum of 0-3 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s/Masters’ degree.
