Role Overview
The Senior Sales Support Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring MongoDB’s sales operations run smoothly. You’ll be supporting Account Executives by maintaining data health, assisting with research, and ensuring the functionality of the tools and systems that enable them to make data-driven decisions. You’ll be mentored by experienced SalesOps leaders, gaining valuable exposure to world-class sales methodologies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Data Maintenance & Cleanup
Updating and cleaning sales data, including account hierarchies, contact merging, and territory assignments to ensure the integrity of the sales data in Salesforce and other tools.
Sales Support & Case Management
Providing front-line support via the Sales Operations Case Queue, resolving inquiries, and escalating cases to relevant teams like Salesforce.com Administrators or Deal Desk as necessary.
Research & Reporting
Conducting research to identify key sales targets, and creating reports to assist in building strong sales pipelines and data-driven decision-making.
Configuration & Automation
Configuring Salesforce and other sales tools, automating manual processes with SQL queries, and creating Sigma/Tableau dashboards to provide valuable insights.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of sales operations experience.
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce, including knowledge of key objects like account, contact, lead, and opportunity.
- Experience with data management tools such as Data Loader, Demand Tools, and research databases like ZoomInfo.
- Hands-on experience with sales productivity tools such as LeadIQ and Cognism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, G Suite, and intermediate Excel (including macros).
- Experience with SQL and automation tools, as well as BI tools like Sigma and Tableau.
