Role Overview
As a **Senior Engineer – Autosar BSW Testing**, your primary responsibility will be to ensure high-quality **validation of ECU software** for automotive systems, focusing on **Powertrain, Engine, Transmission, and Battery systems**. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop test specifications, execute HIL tests, and analyze results. This role requires expertise in **AUTOSAR**, **HIL testing**, and proficiency in **VB scripting** and **automation tools** like **dSPACE** and **Vector tools**.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities include:- Understand ECU software documentation and develop **HiL test specifications** and automation scripts for engine and transmission control units.
- Execute **HiL tests**, analyze the results, and identify root causes of issues.
- Automate manual tests for **HiL systems** and develop **test libraries and architectures**.
- Work with **Python** and **C# scripting** to automate tests and enable continuous 24/7 testing.
- Ensure end-to-end technical responsibility for project deliverables, including timely, cost-effective, and quality execution.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts, supporting the team to identify the root cause of defects.
- Guide the team with technical expertise and implement improvements in testing processes.
