Education: Mandatory: Has at least completed 2 years College Degree
Responsibilities:
- Complete Patient Registrations
- Process registration including confirming insurance and patient information.
- Update patient information as necessary, document current health insurance information and review/update patient demographics.
- Research each patient entry to ensure that only one patient record exists by matching designated criteria in client’s database.
- Identify duplicate patients and complete patient merge requests following client established guidelines set forth in the Operations Documents
- Work on charge review, claim edit work queues and any other work queues related to setting up patient accurately.
- Answer voice calls to provide good faith estimates to patients.
- Call the payer to get coverage and eligibility information.
Role:
- With at least one (1) year of customer service experience (non-voice / back office) in the BPO industry in Healthcare Domain
- Background in supporting Back Office transactions or Chat / Email is an advantage (but not required) with good communication skills.
- High level of navigation skills and ability to work using multiple computer systems.
- Fast learning curve with new technologies, products, processes
- Must be available for a regular schedule of 40 hours a week, one that spans weekends and holidays as our customers need us. Shifts may include evening or early morning hours, and/or on a rotational basis; and should also be available to work overtime due to business needs.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a unique ability to manage stress.
- Working Knowledge of EPIC is a must.
