The business manufactures the entire range of custom-built critical process equipment for global end-users in core industries like oil & gas, refineries, petrochemicals, chemicals, fertilizers, power and water across six continents in the world.

Godrej Process Equipment has two manufacturing facilities in India, at Vikhroli, Mumbai and Dahej, Gujarat with an access to own jetties in both locations, making transportation to anywhere in the globe convenient and easy.

Job Description:

1) Use customer data sheets and specifications as input and convert them into output in the form of fabrication drawings and sketches using AutoCAD software

2) Prepare of Design calculations of Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers and other Process Equipment as per National and International codes like ASME, TEMA, AD MERKBLATTER, PD 5500, etc.

3) Prepare fabrication drawings of complex process equipment

4) Cross-check drawing details with bill of materials table of drawing, for consistency

5) Ensure correctness and timeliness for MTO’s (Material Take Off), drawings and other design documents

6) Prepare detailed bills of materials and technical specifications for bought out items

7) Do an interference checking with reference to past project data to avoid any errors that might occurred previously

8) Ensure quality and timeliness for documentation and drawings

Qualifications Required: MTech in Mechanical/Production

Special Skills Required:

1) Knowledge of AUTOCAD and ERP software

2) Knowledge of sequence of Manufacturing processes

3) International codes like ASME (Sec. VIII Div. 1 & 2) & TEMA

4) Familiarity with various national and international material specifications

5) Knowledge of ISO Systems and Procedures

6) Computer Proficiency
