About The Role

  • You will be responsible for: creating, deploying and transforming Cisco networks, support global network operations and support all network infrastructure’s transformation and operations related activities.
  • Validating and/or creating network implementation and regression plans where applicable.
  • Supporting and/or performing post go live testing to ensure that the technical solution is conformant to Dyson’s network standards and designs.
  • Supporting the service introduction, release and change management processes to ensure that technical deliveries are well planned and executed into network operations. The individual will Have a strong understanding and experience of the following network technologies: LAN, WAN (MPLS, SDWAN), Cisco Wi-Fi, Cisco SDA networks, Cisco DNAC suite, Cisco ISE, Cisco ACI, network management tools, IPSEC VPN, Cisco firewalls.
  • Performing technical validation of functional and non-functional requirements from global network transformation and operations stand-point.
  • Identify improvement opportunities for future network delivery.
  • Contribute into future roadmaps.
  • Contribute into managing global technology standards.
  • Potential of extensive global travel to support effective network transformation delivery.
  • Identify, own, and manage risks and issues relating to the network related project delivery, ensuring that mitigating actions are agreed and executed.
  • Stay abreast of trends in your domain of expertise including management, technologies, sourcing, policies, procedures, and other external changes that could have an impact on your domains technical delivery at Dyson.
  • Build knowledge, capacity, and capability within teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Proactively drive innovation, with new ideas and options made available by new technology and process.
  • Ensure that you and third-party delivery teams are working within the bounds of Dyson’s policies and any global legislative compliance e.g., GDPR, PCI, Cyber Security standards etc.
  • Ensure technical compliance to technical design authorities and architectural principles and roadmap.
  • Providing network specialist expertise for all Digital Workplace deliveries and IT services with regards to new APAC Dyson spaces e.g., offices, research labs, education spaces etc.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 12+ years of strong technical experience in technology with 10+ years in technical leadership roles, be self-motivated, confident in working at a senior level and competent in operating in a matrix organization in which results are driven through influence.
  • Cisco Network transformation, deployment, and highest level of operation support of Cisco routers, switches, SDWAN, SDA, LAN, Wireless network support and troubleshooting, Cisco firewall deployment and support
  • Proficiency with coding languages such as Python, Perl etc.
  • Strong understanding of Edge computing architectures and principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with network analysis tools such as SolarWinds, 1000Eyes
