Role Overview

The Hardware Asset Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of hardware asset management, from procurement through to asset disposal. This includes tracking hardware asset data, auditing asset usage, and generating detailed reports for both internal and client use. Key Responsibilities

Asset Management Lifecycle

• Manage hardware assets throughout their entire lifecycle, from acquisition to disposal.
• Ensure asset records are accurately created and updated in the asset database at each stage of the lifecycle.
• Track and manage leased assets, ensuring compliance with contractual terms.

Audit & Remediation

• Participate in regular asset management audits and work on remediation efforts.
• Ensure all data and documentation are aligned with audit requirements and deadlines.

Client and Contract Management

• Analyze client contracts, purchase agreements, and other relevant documents to manage hardware assets effectively.
• Interact with clients and stakeholders to gather necessary information related to asset management.

Reporting & Analysis

• Generate monthly asset reports and provide ad-hoc reporting as requested.
• Utilize Excel, PowerPoint, and asset management tools (ManageEngine/Fresh Service) to track and report on asset data.

Other Duties

• Assist with additional hardware asset management duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in hardware asset management, including managing leased assets.
• Experience with asset management tools such as ManageEngine, Fresh Service, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Skills

• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work with internal and external teams effectively to ensure asset data is accurate and complete.
• Good understanding of hardware asset management processes and best practices.
