This position is for a Machine Learning engineer who can build efficient, data-driven AI systems that advance our predictive automation capabilities. The candidate should be highly skilled in statistics and programming, with the ability to confidently assess, analyze, and organize large amounts of data.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing Computer Vision algorithms (open-source and contribution to building proprietary algorithms) and build AI-based products relating to OCR, Handwritten Data conversion to Structured data forms and develop ETL pipelines to integrate with enterprise applications.
Expertise in image analysis, machine learning, and software development will be essential in creating innovative visual recognition systems.
Deep knowledge and experience in Computer Vision (CV), Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Model deployment in GCP is a must.

Opportunity Identification:
· Developing/Conceptualizing new AI/ML opportunities from common business problems leveraging Computer Vision and NLP techniques.
· Deep understanding of business problem and developing ML solutions built on Deep Learning techniques (Vision Transformers, Hugging Face models, Convolutional Neural Nets etc)
Data Collection/Preparation:
· Skilled in employing strategies to collect data from heterogenous sources.
· Expertise with Data Cleansing, EDA and Data Synthesizing to feed to AI models.
Deep-Learning ML Model Development:
· Working Experience with deploying open-source and proprietary deep-learning ML models, Transformers (Vision Transformers, CNN, Object Detection, Image Segmentation, OCR etc.,)
Model Deployment & Tuning:
· MUST HAVE: Expertise to build Computer Vision and NLP models trained on enterprise data within corporate firewalls (on-prem / GCP cloud).
· Experience in fine-tuning model performance and hyperparameters to achieve acceptable accuracy and precision.
· Deploy model optimization and tuning strategies to build an optimum sized model to comply with enterprise AI non-functional guidelines.
· Develop CI/CD pipelines to promote the model to Production environment and devise techniques to sample Production accuracy and fallouts.
· Develop visualization using Python / Frontend (Flask/React/Node.js/Angular/Streamlit) libraries to visualize model execution and deploy the solution as a web-application.
Certification in PGP in AIML from reputed institute will be preferred. Healthcare domain knowledge is added advantage.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· As a ML Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing computer vision algorithms and solutions that contribute to our organization’s projects.
· Design, develop, and implement OCR algorithms and techniques to read handwritten forms using the technics such as text recognizing, text segmentation, and image recognition.
· End-to-End ownership of the AI solution from designing a Solution to Deployment and continuous improvements and maintenance of the model.
· Your expertise in image analysis, machine learning, and software development will be essential in creating innovative visual recognition systems.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, define scope, and develop technical solutions that integrate computer vision capabilities.
· Collect, preprocess, and prepare datasets for training and evaluation of computer vision models.
· Implement and optimize machine learning and deep learning models for computer vision tasks, leveraging frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
· Optimize algorithms for real-time and efficient processing of visual data on various platforms, including embedded systems.
· Perform rigorous testing and validation of computer vision solutions, ensuring accuracy, robustness, and scalability.
· Stay updated with the latest advancements in computer vision research and technologies and apply them to enhance our solutions.
· Collaborate with software engineers to integrate computer vision components into applications, products, or systems.
· Create documentation, technical reports, and presentations to communicate the design, implementation, and performance of computer vision solutions.

· With a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of Data Science, you will bring a deep understanding of machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision in designing and implementing computer vision algorithms, with a portfolio showcasing relevant projects.
· Should have worked on Enterprise level data science projects and need to demonstrate the portfolio during interview.
· In addition to your data science skills, you should have experience in OCR libraries, algorithms and frameworks can extract text of handwritten documents. Your expertise will be instrumental in solving complex OCR and document training challenges.
· Should be familiar with model deployment in GCP and Google’s ML pipeline lifecycle.
· Proficiency in programming languages such as like Python, SQL, and relevant libraries/frameworks for algorithm development.
· Solid understanding of computer vision concepts, image processing techniques, and feature extraction methods
· Familiarity with machine learning frameworks, libraries, and tools for developing computer vision models.
· Experience with deep learning, neural networks, and popular computer vision architectures
· Strong mathematical background in linear algebra, calculus, and optimization
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex computer vision challenges.
· Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
