Job Description:
- Primary focus will be supporting the Mainframe platform infrastructure including: routines that manage database I/O for retrieval and updates; routines that support the user interface layer; routines that support distributed applications; and tools / automation to streamline SDLC processes
- Perform hands-on technical work as required, including analysis, design, development, testing and implementation.
- Ability to drill deep into subject matter with the expectation to evolve as subject matter expert on current infrastructure systems. Perform research and analysis, recommending solutions and driving decisions.
- Serve as a “point person” for specific technical expertise.
- Solve complex, technical problems with emphasis on systems programmer knowledge.
- Participate in new/updated software release roll-out activities as required, including production readiness and support.
