Role:

In this leadership role, you’ll be responsible for leading a team of 10 Deal Operations Analysts across the United States (US) and the United Kingdom (UK). You and your team will work closely with the Sales Operations, Order Management, and technical IT teams to provide support to sellers and sales leadership throughout the end-to-end quoting process. We’re looking for an experienced people leader, who can mentor and develop an impactful team to achieve their goals and objectives in a fast-paced high-growth environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that your team is coordinating the end-to-end selling process, from account data management to providing overall first-line opportunity and quoting support for sales representatives.
  • Work in partnership with GTM Ops leadership to further scale the team to be able to offer global support to our entire sales force.
  • Build, train, and develop the group to provide elite sales support services.
  • Manage operational performance/business efficiency for the sales support team across the US and the UK in a hybrid/remote model.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners to maintain alignment and drive operational excellence – primarily with sales, renewals, and GTM Operations teams.
  • Establish a prioritization methodology for the teams with a cross-functional group of partners – finance, sales, and sales operations.
  • Seek opportunities for efficiency and improvement of processes and partnering with IT and other partners to implement them.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards and presentations on the efficiency of the quoting support teams, such as supervising SLAs and critical metrics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA or equivalent experience.
  • 6 to 8 years of experience in business operations, sales support operations, or a similar operations management business role supporting a high-growth SaaS/Cloud environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Salesforce CPQ, or similar CRM and CPQ platforms.
  • Experience as a decision maker where you were accountable for delivering outcomes that could be easily evaluated.
  • Ability to work with senior leadership across various geographies and functions.
  • A meticulous person who enjoys working in an active, collaborative, and high-growth environment.
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • An expert people leader with a positive approach and influencing skills that can build and coordinate large teams of people to work cooperatively and effectively
  • A track record of success in operations management
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills to handle a multitude of disparate responsibilities with a committed demeanor

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $132,000.00 – 181,500.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $118,800.00 – 163,350.00 per year

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range: $105,600.00 – 145,200.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
