Job Summary

To support NetApp’s vision, the Core Software and Data Management team is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team.
As an enthusiastic Quality Assurance engineer, you will work as part of a team of skilled and passionate engineers responsible for participating in the design discussion, Test Plan, and Test Case development, engaging in different types of testing, and automating Test Cases. You will also engage with other QA teams and Dev counterparts. Your role encompasses testing, coming up with ideas to improve test coverage and automation, reduce field issues, and improve overall quality. This position requires an individual to be creative, team-oriented, technology-savvy and driven to produce results
Job Requirements
- Strong Python automation and debugging skills
- Ability to comprehend Functional Spec, Design Spec, and Test Plan in sufficient detail.
- Ability to devise robust Test Cases, execute and automate them, and find and report issues
- Ability to analyze and RCA customer/internal found issues, identify test gaps and fill them
- Good understanding of Storage concepts
- Candidates with hands-on/project experience or familiarity with Computer Architecture, Operating Systemic concepts, and File Systems concepts will be given a preference.
Good to have:
- Experience with RestAPI testing, AWS/Azure/GCP cloud
- Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Work collaboratively within and outside the team of other engineers
Education
- 1-3 years of industry experience in the relevant domain is required
- A B.Tech/BE in CSE/ECE, a master’s degree, or equivalent experience is required
