Google is hiring Program Manager, Admin Console, Google Workspace

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience with productivity or business applications.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with running analysis and programs at scale (e.g., automation using sheet scripts, etc.).
  • Experience handling small to large complex engineering projects.
  • Ability to handle change management including transitioning teams to agile.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Admin Console represents administration for Google Workspace (business which is one of Google’s fastest growing and most profitable). Administrators are an increasingly important persona for the growth of Workspace business, since they’re decision makers for many important business-impacting decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Run ambiguous programs to achieve the goals for Admin Console team.
  • Run planning and execution across a team of Software Engineers. Drive collaboration and alignment of work with teams across back-end and partner use cases.
  • Drive alignment and collaboration with cross-functional teams including Engineering, UX, Product, UX writers, and other stakeholders as necessary.
  • Orchestrate program strategy and lead program teams in order to successfully deliver business, operational, and technical improvements.
  • Drive technical projects from requirements through launch, including managing complex project schedules, removing roadblocks, and keeping processes running smoothly.
