- JOB DETAILS: Delivery Planner / Project Coordinator
- JOB PURPOSE / ROLE:
To manage, facilitate, control and support the smooth and accurate execution of BT projects according to set processes procedures and controls the provision of deliverables within the budget, requirements of the internal client and quality standards of the Bank

Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
Day- to-day operations
Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the BT PMO function to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures

Project Planning
Develops and upon approval implements BT project plans (e.g. resourcing, scheduling, key deliverables, milestones, cost estimates, etc.) for assigned BT projects in order to ensure effective resource management, adherence to quality standards and project management tools (SDLC and IT Infrastructure) and compliance with master project plan
Create reports, plans, schedule, follow-up support project teams
Coordinates with all the relevant parties that are involved in the execution of the project, including the Divisional Portfolio Manager to communicate a clear picture of the project’s requests, set targets and timelines and achieve maximum cooperation and quality of deliverables
Create and track reports progress of projects and initiate the resolution of issues, while escalates complex problems for management decision making. Monitors the actual costs against budget and provides analytical information to his/her supervisor
Project Management
Coordinate the execution process of the tasks assigned to all involved against targets and objectives, so as to identify compliance or potential discrepancies from plans
Tracks and reports progress of projects, while escalates complex problems for management decision making.
Arrange with external vendors or internal developers for the accurate execution of tasks
Coordinate all project deliverables to go through the User Acceptance and Testing phases and Security so as to comply with BT project development processes, client requests and quality standards
Continuous Improvement
Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
Reporting
Prepares timely and accurate progress reports to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards
Safety, Quality & Environment
Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
Related Assignments
Performs other related duties or assignments as directed
- QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or any suitable degree preferably at post-graduate level
International project management certification, e.g. PMP, PMI, Prince
Minimum Experience
4-6 years of relevant experience across multiple BT support areas of which at least 3 years in project management within a Banking environment
Language
English: Advanced

Very good knowledge of the banking operations and requirements
