What You’ll Do
The candidate will support the Global Topic Leader for Climate & Sustainability in the Industrial Goods (IG) Practice Area (PA) and the PA Management & Operations Team with the execution of our Climate & Sustainability and Industrial Goods agenda. Key responsibilities, in order of share of your time:
- Reporting and business intelligence for a rapidly growing business segment including revenue & sales performance, lead flow monitoring, competitive intelligence.
- Supporting leadership team meetings e.g., preparing analyses and status updates, consolidating information, capturing feedback, managing action items and follow-ups
- Maintaining a collection of best practices and commercial materials to support global business development and knowledge transfer, working jointly with our Knowledge Teams
- Supporting global business development initiatives for regional and industrial sub-segments of the Industrial Goods Practice Area, e.g., supporting leadership and case teams in navigating materials and experts, capturing and sharing different cuts of business data, consolidating information & insights and supporting selected workstreams such as the growth and management of our expert network
- Preparing internal communications to promote insights and best practices to our global community: drafting, formatting, and distributing newsletters; preparing and curating internal marketing materials
- Supporting other tasks as needed based on availability and demand

You Bring (experience & Qualifications)
- Education and work experience: BA in STEM, business, economics, or Climate & Sustainability related subjects; preferably 1-2 years of experience in a business setting
- Previous internship or work experience in a larger consultancy, other professional service firm or Industrial Goods company a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including fluent English language skills
- Experience working in virtual and intercultural teams a plus
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office – specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
YOU’LL WORK WITH
The candidate will work closely with the Industrial Goods Practice Area Management & Operations Team in Germany, the UK, US and India as well as the Global Topic Leader for Climate & Sustainability in the United States. Occasionally, the candidate may work with other BCG entities on global, regional and local level as needed.
