PL/SQL Developer with strong banking knowledge
We are looking for a PL/SQL developer to develop queries and procedures, create custom reports, and modify/ optimize ETL Jobs to enhance organizational productivity. He/She will be responsible for development and support activities to ensuring their stability, reliability and performance.
Responsibilities
· Development of high quality database solutions
· Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL
· Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements
· Research required data
· Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables
· Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
· Suggest new queries
· Develop procedures and scripts for data migration
· Perform daily, weekly, and monthly data maintenance tasks
· Provide timely scheduled management reporting
Required Skills/Knowledge:
· 4 – 7 years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role
· Hands on systems development
· Proficiency in Excel is mandatory
· Work experience in the financial sector, good understanding of financial terms
· BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
· Excellent understanding of Oracle/Microsoft SQL Server
· Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
· Experience with ETL Tools – ODI, Informatica Power Center
· Experience on Big Data is a Plus
